Punto Banco Regulations

Punto banco is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below ten are counted at face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, although the beginning number is ignored. e.g., a hand of five and six has a total of one (5 plus six = eleven; ignore the 1st ‘one’).

A third card might be given using the following rules:

- If the gambler or bank achieves a total of 8 or nine, both players hold.

- If the player has less than 5, she takes a card. Players stands otherwise.

- If the gambler stays, the house takes a card on a total lower than five. If the player hits, a chart is used to figure out if the banker stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The greater of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out 19:20 (even payout less a five percent rake. The Rake is recorded and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure you have money left over just before you leave). Winning bets on the gambler pay 1:1. Winning bets for a tie normally pay 8 to 1 but occasionally nine to one. (This is a bad bet as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 hands. Be cautious of wagering on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for 9 to 1 versus 8 to 1)

Gambled on correctly baccarat chemin de fer provides generally good odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Course of Action

As with all games Baccarat has a few established myths. One of which is close to a absurdity in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of events about to happen. Tracking previous results on a chart is a bad use of paper and an insult to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and almost certainly the most accomplished strategy is the 1-3-2-6 technique. This technique is employed to pump up earnings and minimizing risk.

Start by wagering one dollar. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the table for a sum of three chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will now have six on the table, pull off four so you keep 2 on the third bet. If you succeed on the 3rd round, deposit two on the four on the game table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th wager.

Should you lose on the 1st bet, you take a loss of one. A profit on the first bet followed by a hit on the second brings about a hit of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a hit on the third provides you with a gain of two. And success on the initial 3 with a hit on the fourth means you are even. Winning at all four bets gives you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you will be able to lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every favorable streak of four wagers and still experience no loss.
