Baccarat Codes

Baccarat chemin de fer is enjoyed with eight decks in a shoe. Cards under ten are valued at their printed value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the sum of the two cards, although the 1st digit is ignored. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a total of one (five plus six = 11; ditch the first ‘one’).

A third card could be given using the rules below:

- If the player or banker gets a value of eight or 9, the two players stay.

- If the gambler has less than 5, he hits. Players otherwise stand.

- If the gambler holds, the house takes a card on a value less than 5. If the player takes a card, a guide is employed to determine if the bank stands or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The higher of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the banker payout 19:20 (equal money minus a 5% rake. The Rake is recorded and cleared out when you depart the game so make sure you have cash left over before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays out at one to one. Winning wagers for tie frequently pays eight to one but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 hands. Avoid putting money on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for 9:1 vs. 8 to 1)

Gambled on properly punto banco gives pretty decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Banque Method

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a handful of accepted misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a myth in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of events yet to happen. Recording previous results at a table is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that was cut down for our paper desires.

The most established and likely the most successful strategy is the one, three, two, six method. This technique is used to pump up earnings and minimizing losses.

Start by placing one dollar. If you succeed, add one more to the 2 on the table for a grand total of 3 units on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have 6 on the table, subtract four so you have 2 on the third bet. Should you win the 3rd round, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you do not win on the first round, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the initial round followed by a hit on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you with a take of two. And success on the first 3 with a hit on the 4th means you break even. Winning at all four bets gives you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you are able to lose the 2nd bet 5 instances for every successful streak of four wagers and in the end, are even.
