Baccarat Procedures
Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are of a value less than ten are counted at their printed number whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they only appear as the 2 hands to be given out).
2 hands of two cards shall then be given to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for every hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is dropped. For example, a hand of 7 as well as 5 gives a total score of two (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘one’).
A third card could be played depending on the following codes:
- If the gambler or banker has a value of eight or nine, each players stand.
- If the player has five or less, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.
- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the player hits, a chart will be used in order to judge if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The bigger of the 2 scores is the winner. Successful wagers on the banker pay out 19 to twenty (even money less a five % commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have $$$$$ still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winning bets for tie typically pay out eight to one and on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a terrible wager as ties will occur lower than 1 every 10 hands. Run away from wagering on a tie. Nevertheless odds are significantlly better – 9 to 1 vs. 8 to one)
When played smartly, baccarat provides fairly decent odds, away from the tie bet ofcourse.
Baccarat Strategy
As with just about all games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. 1 of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is surely not an actual indicator of future events. Staying abreast of historic results on a chart is undoubtedly a complete waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.
The most popular and feasibly most successful method is the 1-3-two-six concept. This process is employed to build up earnings and minimizing risk.
start by gambling one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away four so you have two on the 3rd gamble. If you win the third gamble, add two to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th gamble.
If you don’t win on the 1st bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. In other words that you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
