Baccarat Banque Standards

Baccarat banque is enjoyed with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards under 10 are valued at face value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the sum of the cards, but the 1st number is dumped. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a score of 1 (five plus six equals eleven; ditch the initial ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be given out using the rules below:

- If the gambler or house has a total of 8 or 9, both players stay.

- If the player has less than five, he hits. Players otherwise stay.

- If the player holds, the banker takes a card on a value lower than 5. If the gambler hits, a table is used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The bigger of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the bank payout nineteen to Twenty (even money minus a 5% commission. Commission are kept track of and paid off once you leave the table so be sure to have money around before you quit). Winning bets on the gambler pays 1 to 1. Winning bets for a tie usually pays 8:1 but sometimes nine to one. (This is a awful wager as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every 10 hands. Be wary of gambling on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for nine to one vs. 8:1)

Gambled on properly baccarat banque offers generally good odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Strategy

As with all games baccarat banque has a few common false impressions. One of which is the same as a false impression in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of future events. Tracking past results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our stationary desires.

The most common and possibly the most successful strategy is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This tactic is deployed to build up winnings and minimizing risk.

Begin by wagering one dollar. If you succeed, add one more to the 2 on the table for a grand total of 3 units on the second bet. Should you succeed you will retain 6 on the table, pull off four so you have two on the 3rd wager. If you win the third bet, put down 2 on the 4 on the game table for a sum total of six on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the first wager, you take a hit of 1. A win on the initial wager followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a hit of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd provides you with a take of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th means you break even. Winning all 4 wagers leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you are able to not win on the 2nd wager five instances for every favorable run of 4 rounds and still experience no loss.
