Baccarat Chemin de Fer Rules

Punto banco is gambled on with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below 10 are valued at face value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand is the total of the cards, however the 1st digit is ignored. e.g., a hand of 5 and six has a score of 1 (5 plus six equals eleven; drop the 1st ‘1′).

A 3rd card can be given based on the following rules:

- If the player or banker gets a total of eight or 9, both players hold.

- If the gambler has less than 5, she takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the gambler holds, the banker hits on 5 or lower. If the gambler hits, a table is used to see if the house stands or hits.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The greater of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out 19:20 (equal cash less a five percent rake. The Rake is recorded and paid off when you depart the table so make sure you still have funds remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie typically pays eight to one but on occasion nine to one. (This is a poor wager as ties happen lower than one in every ten rounds. Be wary of gambling on a tie. However odds are substantially better for nine to one vs. 8:1)

Wagered on correctly punto banco gives pretty decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Course of Action

As with all games baccarat banque has a few familiar misconceptions. One of which is the same as a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of events yet to happen. Recording previous outcomes on a page of paper is a waste of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most familiar and definitely the most successful plan is the one, three, two, six tactic. This method is deployed to build up winnings and limit risk.

Start by wagering 1 chip. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of 3 units on the second bet. If you win you will hold 6 on the game table, subtract four so you keep 2 on the 3rd bet. If you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, add 2 to the 4 on the game table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth bet.

Should you don’t win on the 1st bet, you take a hit of one. A profit on the 1st bet followed by a hit on the second creates a hit of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third provides you with a take of two. And success on the initial 3 with a hit on the 4th means you balance the books. Winning all 4 rounds leaves you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you can not win on the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four wagers and still are even.
